Saif bin Zayed launches the global inspiration platform "Zayed The Inspirer"

Lieutenant General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, announced the launch of the global inspiration platform titled "Zayed The Inspirer," aimed at sharing successes with the rest of the world. The platform is launched in honor of the spirit of inspiration instilled by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and in line with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the UAE, who designated the year 2018 as the "Year of Zayed." This announcement was made during a session titled "Land of Inspiration and Opportunities" as part of the sixth edition of the World Government Summit held in Dubai from February 11 to 13, 2018.

The session was attended by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai; His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs; His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation; His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai; His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai; His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Airports and President of the Emirates Group; His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation; and His Highness Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, among other dignitaries.

Lieutenant General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan emphasized that inspiration and initiative are the incentives and the way to elevate humanity and reach high positions. He stated that just as other countries are known as the "Land of Dreams," the "Land of Bright Ideas," the "Land of Wonders," or the "City of Light," the UAE deserves to be described as the "Land of Inspiration" due to its triumphant journey, giant strategic projects, secure stable reality, and more.

He added that seizing opportunities and overcoming challenges are among the most important foundations of success, qualities embodied by the wise leadership of the UAE. Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan said that inspiration, challenge, and seizing opportunities are part of the personality of his leaders, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed."

He affirmed that the UAE has reached its current achievements through exceptional people, positive citizenship, comprehensive beliefs, a visionary outlook, and integrity in ethics and vision, culminating in comprehensive righteousness. He emphasized that if the country could achieve what it has today with the possibilities available in the 1960s and 1970s, the youth should recognize the current possibilities and look to the future.

Sheikh Saif stressed the importance of internal cohesion in the country to achieve success and progress, stating that as long as the home is united, all challenges become easy. The home nurtures its children in the best way, providing the best methods to care for them and enabling them through empowerment, training, and education.
